General enquiries from parents, visitors and members of the public will be dealt with by our reception team, Nikki Ness & Lesley Potter or by our school administrators Lucy Chan & Pat Rice During school days, our reception and telephone line is open from 8:30am - 4pm. Outside of these times, please leave a message or use the email address above and our team will respond as soon as they can during working hours.

Please understand that out of hours and during school holidays reception may be closed, any voicemail or email sent through will be picked up when the staff return.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Becky Edwards is our Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO)

Becky's role is to make sure that students with Special Education Needs or Disabilities are identified and receive appropriate additional support to allow them to participate in school, and to regularly review this to ensure we continue to meet their needs as they move through the school in order for them to achieve. If you are visiting our school, you must first read our Visitor Policy. This is displayed in school, but also here for your convenience:

Visitor Policy

At Bramcote College, we are asking for the support of all our visitors to minimise the risk of Covid-19 transmission.

We are a welcoming school and apologise for not being able to give you our habitual warm welcome. We are taking the pandemic seriously and must put the welfare of all students and staff and families first.

If possible, we would ask that you hold meetings by phone and virtual/zoom calls with staff. We understand that this is not always possible but would ask you to visit school only if essential and by prior arrangement.

If your visit to Bramcote College is an essential one, we would nevertheless ask that you refrain from visiting if:

You have tested positive for COVID-19 and symptoms started in the last 10 days or are ongoing (or tested positive within the last 10 days if there are no symptoms)
You have any of the suspected symptoms of COVID-19 and have not received a negative test result after the symptoms started
Someone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms (and has not received a negative test result)
You have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days
You have been asked to self-isolate by the Test and Trace service
You have returned from abroad within the last 14 days and are required to quarantine
There is any other reason to suspect you may have COVID-19 and you have not yet received a negative test result

Symptoms of COVID-19

Suspected symptoms identified in government and NHS guidance are:

high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Please do not attend our site if you have any of the suspected symptoms.

If your visit is pre-arranged and essential, you should wash your hands with soap and water/sanitiser before leaving home and again once you arrive on site. Gel hand sanitiser is available on arrival and throughout your visit.

You will be required to wear a face mask in all areas of the building and maintain 2 metres social distancing from others.
